Rho Nu Nursing Association 

Hi, Rho Nu! I’m Mandy, and I will be one of your co-presidents this semester. I am a sophomore, and this will be my third semester in Rho Nu. I love to discover music, hang out with people, and go out for fun activities (especially concerts). I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and aiming for a position in either Labor and Delivery or the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). I am most excited for welcoming our incoming and past members to a new school year and build connections amongst everyone through our events. I can’t wait for you guys to see what Rho Nu can offer towards your journey to becoming a nurse. <3

Hii! My name is Megan and I'm a sophomore. Some things I enjoy doing in my free time is reading, working out, and discovering new music! I'm still unsure about what type of nurse I want to be, however, I'm stuck between a nurse practitioner or a DNP in nursing. I find a part of myself drawn to leadership and teaching as well! I'm super excited to work with my fellow officers to make the most out of Rho Nu and meet tons of new people! Look out for those socials!

​Hi everyone, my name is Naina and I am a sophomore! I love to listen to music, watch movies, swim, and try new food with my friends and family. I plan to get my BSN and become an ICU or ER nurse in the future and am interesting in eventually advancing to a MSN. I’m looking forward to meeting new members, collaborating with the amazing officers, and planning some great events this semester!

Hey everyone, my name is Mary-Joe and I am currently a freshman! In my free time I enjoy going to the gym, playing video games, and reading. I looking forward to getting the hands on experience nursing school offers, but as of right now, I’m leaning towards ICU or NICU nursing. I’m excited to meet all the future Rho Nu members and fellow nursing students!

Hey everyone, my name is Sarah and I am a sophomore! In my free time I enjoy running, reading, watching shows & movies, and hanging with friends. My goal is to receive a BSN then further my education by getting a master’s degree (MSN) to pursue a career as a pediatric nurse practitioner. I am excited to work with the officer team, meet new members, and see what the club will put together for a fun, successful semester!

Hello everyone, my name is Pooja and I am a freshman! In my free time, I play cricket and represent the USA Women’s Cricket Team. I want to be Pediatric Nurse and want to obtain a DNP. I am excited for all the activities we have planned!

Hi guys, I'm Nia and I'm currently a sophomore! I really enjoy crocheting and as for the future, I want to become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. I am excited to get the club more involved in the local Houston community!

​Hello everyone!!! My name is Samara Estrada and this is my second year at University of Houston. I am the Social Coordinator for Rho Nu! I love to journal, go to cycling classes, and explore new coffee shops in the Houston area on my free time. My nursing goal is to become a flight nurse or even an aesthetic nurse. I’m absolutely honored and incredibly excited to be part of the Rho Nu Organization at UH. I can’t wait to meet new members and network with other organizations.

​I’m currently a sophomore with a passion for cooking—I'm a big foodie and I love a good sweet treat. My main goal is to become an OB nurse after earning my bachelor’s degree because I believe it's crucial for women to have access to proper, quality care during their most vulnerable moments. In the future, I hope to earn my master’s degree and become an OB nurse practitioner. This semester, I’m really looking forward to getting to know our members and supporting each other on our journey toward nursing school.

Hello, I am currently a sophomore here at uh. In my free time I love to watch shows, thrift and paint. Hopefully after I get my BSN I’ll work and gain experience before I become a travel nurse. After I’ve had my fun being a travel nurse I hope to go back to school and become a CRNA. I am super excited to see new faces and hopefully help yall in your own journeys to becoming a nurse!

Hello, my name is Jinerfer and I am a sophomore. My hobbies include reading, shopping, and buying k-pop albums. I am hoping to become an RN with a BSN in either pediatrics or the labor and delivery department. I’m excited for the fundraisers we’ll be hosting this year because I love food and want to support Rho Nu in any way I can. I’m super excited for this semester as a Rho Nu workshop coordinator, please look forward to our fire workshops that will be coming your way soon!

Hi I’m Laya and I’m currently a freshman! In my free time I like to paint and watch Netflix! In terms of specialty I want to one day work as a dermatology nurse and hopefully become a nurse practitioner. This semester I am excited to meet everyone and to make lasting memories with the team!
